I ordered this muzzle as unlike any commercial one to fit my non-standard border collie and, due to its canine reactivity, it was recommended to wear the muzzle outside the house. The product is made individually and when it came it turned out to be the ideal size with very good quality leather. My initial fears were about stiffness of the leather and the weight of the muzzle in general, which could cause discomfort to the dog. None of my fears came true as it fits very well and seems to be made to provide the best possible comfort for the dog.
Dog impressions are ambiguous, as you can imagine. He does not like to wear a muzzle in general, but this new one does not seem to disturb him more or less as the previous one. And taking into account that the previous one from the market was disturbing him by touching his nose and the middle strap fell to the other side covering his eye, the new metal muzzle, made to fit seems more tolerable.
